Subj: Buxton School - Memorial Service for Magda Fincke Buxton School The Fincke family invites members of the greater Buxton community to a memorial service for Magda Fincke on Saturday, November 13th at the First Congregational Church in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Magda died on Friday, August 13th. She died at home surrounded by her family and close friends. Magda was healthy and vital up to the time of her final illness.

Magda served with Ben as co-director and was an art teacher at Buxton for many years. Magda and Ben were members of the Buxton community for nearly 50 years. Magda enjoyed gardening, swimming and reading but the center of her life were her students and the Buxton community. Ben and Madga leave behind a legacy that will forever be a part of Buxton.
Memorial donations may be made to the Benjamin G. C. and Magdalene J. Fincke Scholarship Fund and sent to Buxton School, 291 South Street, Williamstown, MA 01267. The Alumni/Development Office also encourages you to send your memories of Magda so they can be included in the Spring 2005 Newsletter.
