I really love the potential of this thread, and it was great to read your history, Jim, 15 months later! It does look, however, as if this site is under-used. Now that we have just been given the magic words to enter the alumni site, maybe more of us could catch up with each other.
I don't have time at the moment for a good summary of 1961-2007, but I shall return. A snippet: We moved to Colorado in 2004, after my husband retired from teaching at Vanderbilt for 27 years. Thus the bulk of adult life, 28 years, was spent in Nashville, TN, 2 kids raised there, etc. We now rotate between Boulder CO, France, and a small school where Robley sometimes still teaches, in the deepest desert of eastern California. Health so far is good enough, though a recent article on aging in the New Yorker indicates that change should be expected.
