In addition, remarkable relationships between students and adults are possible here as a result of the shared experience of life at Buxton.

Students at Buxton come from all corners of the United States and from around the globe. In the recent past, international students have hailed from Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Taiwan, South Korea, and Spain. Above all, we emphasize the vibrancy of a community in which individuals, from whatever background, respect and learn from one another.

Each year we look forward with anticipation to talking to and meeting those of you who will be considering Buxton for high school.

There are several opportunities to visit Buxton over the course of the year. We hold Open Campus Days in the fall, have an annual Open House during our Spring Arts weekend, and host other admissions events throughout the year. Additionally, Buxton admissions staff and parents regularly attend secondary school fairs and visit schools and educational consultants. If you want to get to know Buxton even better, please call the Admissions Office to schedule a time for a tour and interview. Visiting and meeting the students and adults at the school face-to-face are essential to understanding life at Buxton.
